Job description
A specialist role within the Food Safety & Quality sector serving food manufacturing, food service and supply-chain compliance across the United Arab Emirates.
This on-site position delivers operational food-safety programmes, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across production, catering and distribution environments.Primary Title:
Food Safety Officer
Role & Responsibilities
Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc food-safety inspections and internal audits to verify compliance with FSMS,
HACCP and GMP requirements.
Maintain, review and update
HACCP plans, SSOPs and FSMS documentation; lead corrective actions and CAPA to closure.
Coordinate microbiological and chemical sampling, liaise with accredited labs, and interpret test results to drive containment actions.
Deliver frontline training on hygiene, allergen control and sanitation practices; coach production teams to reduce non-conformities.
Manage supplier food-safety assessments and support incoming-material controls, including verification of certificates and traceability records.
Liaise with local regulatory authorities and third-party auditors; prepare for inspections and lead responses to official findings.
