    Our client - is a management company that oversees key business units in IT, finance, and trading, is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant.

    Location: Dubai, UAE
    Type: Remote or Office (Ukraine/Cyprus/Dubai), Full-time

    About the Company:

    A management company oversees key business units such as IT, finance, and trading. Its primary responsibility is to provide strategic leadership and coordinate operational activities across these units.
    The management company's objective is to define a developmental strategy for the group of companies. This includes addressing resource, financial, and risk-related issues, managing operational processes, and implementing leadership strategies tailored to each business unit.
    It also oversees the alignment of activities and resources among the IT product company, trading enterprise, and brokerage firm. As a linchpin, it plays a vital role in establishing a unified strategic direction and ensuring the successful functioning of the entire group of companies.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Handling Day-to-Day Company Transactions, including but not limited to: Invoices,
    • Expenditures, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, Journal Entries,
    • Perform general ledger accounting tasks..
    • Manage VAT assessments and filing, along with reporting for corporate tax.
    • Oversee cash and petty cash management.
    • Examine account and system-related reports of the organization to make accurate assessments.
    • Maintain accurate month-end records by examining all financial statements.
    • Facilitate a smooth yearly audit process through an independent evaluator by providing accurate transactions and balances of the company.
    • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
    • Coordinate with the management and uphold the standard laws and regulations for monitoring, updating, and maintaining fiscal activities.

      Requirements:
    • Minimum of 2 years of work experience providing full accounting support for UAE companies
    • Strong understanding of statutory, regulatory, and tax reporting in Dubai.
    • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
    • Professional certifications such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CMA, MBA finance, DipIFR are a must.
    • Proficiency in MS Dynamics, Business Central, or other accounting ERPs.
    • Experience in handling day-to-day company transactions, including but not limited to
      invoices, expenditures, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation,
      journal entries, and payroll.
    • Experience in facilitating a smooth yearly audit process by providing accurate
      transactions and balances.
