Scope

The Barista/Bartender promotes coffee consumption by educating customers; selling coffee and coffee grinding and brewing equipment, accessories, and supplies; preparing and serving a variety of coffee, tea and mocktails along with pastries and bakeries.

The job of
Barista/Bartender is executed satisfactorily when:

All rules & regulations are strictly adhered within the company including internal policy, essential food, health and safety as well as hygiene regulations including HACCP and Dubai Municipality/Food Watch compliance.
Familiarity with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes a great customer service.
Promotes and upsell coffee consumption by educating customers; selling coffee, coffee grinding & brewing equipment, coffee/tea accessories & supplies; in addition to preparing and serving a variety of coffee/tea, mocktail drinks, along with pastries and menu items.

Experience

Previous Barista/Bartender experience is a must
Safe Food Handling Certification

Personal Characteristics & Skills

Sincere interest in / knowledge of Food and Beverage is a MUST.
Be able to fully communicate in advance level of English.
Must have solid knowledge of dining room service standards, food delivery aspects and excellent customer service skills.
Basic knowledge of Internet browsers / search and Microsoft office
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
