    The purpose of this position is tomanage all inventory control related activities and to assist theAssistant Warehouse Manager to provide effective logistics andinventory management and services to Engineering &Maintenance Department of the DubaiMetro.

    • Develops and implementsprocedures for ensuring that adequate inventory levels arepresent.
    • Supervise and coach the Storekeeper onall aspects of inventory management (material handling sortingshelving and accurate bin locations of spares according topredetermined sequence with accurate markings and identifyinginformation).
    • Load and unload goods at thewarehouse for material receipts andissues.
    • Handle chemicals and inflammablematerials.
    • Operate forklift trucks and otherlifting equipment as required.
    • Receive items ininventory with correct quantity unit measurement labels and correctBIN location.
    • Raise requisitions and purchaseorders.
    • Ensure that all lotted items have shelflife/expiration date and all items with warranty are updated inMMS.
    • Ensure that all hazardous items havematerial safety data sheet (MSDS).
    • Record anystock movements on the inventory management system (MMS) to ensureaccuracy of stock levels at all times (includes issuances manualissuances transfers and returns).
    • Ensure thatall assets are issued in the correct operating location andattached with the correct parent.
    • Ensure thatall manual issuances are booked in WorkOrder.
    • Ensure that critical list is updated ona monthly basis and Subsystem Stores Outstanding Inventory BalanceReport is sent out to subsystem.
    • Use theinventory management system to download key reports such as weeklyand monthly report as required by RTA.
    • Ensurethat lotted items/items with expiration date are managedaccordingly.
    • Identify stock below reorder pointand prepare replenishment report.
    • Coordinationfor replacement of rejected and/or damaged item or anyclarification required from suppliercoordination.
    • Coordinate with suppliers andvendors regarding the repair or replacement of faulty damageditems/assets.
    • Monitor and prepare tools due forcalibration.
    • Raise vendor service requests andgeneration of return merchandise authorization(RMA);
    • Prepare and ship items for repairthrough local and internationalsuppliers.
    • Register receive classify andsegregate Engineering and Maintenancewaste.
    • Correction in inventory (such as UOMelimination item ID duplication description and physical matches)as instructed by the Assistant WarehouseManager.
    • Manage control measures to ensureinaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted addressed andresolved.
    • Identify causes of issues andimplementing process improvements.
    • Communicateand implement changes as directed by Assistant WarehouseManager.
    • Perform inventory stock count onpredetermined frequency prepare reports and action to balanceinventory counts.
    • Maintain the cleanliness ofthe warehouse; participate in keeping all work areas clean safe andtidy for smoothing all the logistic and inventory process in acontrolled safe efficient and appropriatemanner.
    • Perform and carry out duties asinstructed/directed by the Assistant Warehouse Manager andWarehouse Manager.
