Minimum of 6 years of relevant regulatory compliance experience in a banking or financial institution within UAE.

Strong understanding of all regulatory and legal requirements, such as:

CBUAE Standards, Regulations regarding Licensing and Monitoring of Exchange Businesses, Consumer Protection Standards, Cabinet Decisions, CBUAE notices and guidelines, any other related regulatory directives issued by CBUAE, UAE Ministry or any other governing authorities, as well as internal policies and bylaws.

Must have excellent policy and procedure writing skillsBachelor Degree Holder; Professional certification in Compliance such as CAMS or ICA, is essential.

Strong business acumen and knowledge of risks and controlsWell-versed in corporate governance best practicesEffective communicator and has the ability to inspire confidence and influence senior managers & leaders, build strong relationships and drive compliance strategies
