Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage theproduction of crops and livestock on thefarm
• Ensure the farm operates efficiently andeffectively, meeting production targets and maintaininghigh-quality standards
• Plant, cultivate, andharvest crops according to crop seasons and marketconditions
• Monitor crop growth and health,making necessary adjustments to irrigation, fertilization, and pestcontrol methods
• Perform routine maintenance andrepairs on farm equipment and machinery
• Overseethe breeding, feeding, and care of livestock, including monitoringtheir health and well-being
• Manage and maintainaccurate records of farm activities, expenses, and productionlevels
• Develop and implement strategies toincrease productivity and profitability of thefarm
• Stay updated on industry developments andimplement new and innovative farmingtechniques
• Train and supervise farm workers andseasonal laborers
  

Requirements

• 1 years of experience in farmmanagement or similar role
• Strong knowledge ofcrop and livestock production, agricultural methods, and industrytrends
• Proven ability to operate and maintainfarm equipment and machinery
• Excellentproblem-solving skills and decision-makingabilities
• Ability to work outdoors in variousweather conditions and lift heavyobjects
• Effective communication and leadershipskills
• Attention to detail and strongorganizational skills
• Familiarity with organicfarming methods is a plus
