SAE Institute is looking for a passionate and qualified Game Design lecturer to join their creative academic team.

The purpose of this role is to teach Game Production, 3D Asset Creation, and Animation and inspire young minds at our Rosebank campus.

Requirements:

Experience, Education and Competency:
Minimum NQF Level 8 qualification (BA Honours) in relevant fieldExperience in the field of Game Production, 3D Asset Creation, 3D Modeling and Animation of a minimum of 2 yearsExperience in classroom management and workshop facilitation skills in an academic or training environment of a minimum of 2 yearsDemonstrate knowledge and experience in game production and relevant game engine (ideally Unity), Unreal is aDemonstrate knowledge and experience in 3D asset creation and 3D animation pipeline (modelling, texturing, lighting, rigging, animation) and relevant software (ideally Blender)2D Asset Creation skills would be aPossess communication, interpersonal skills, administration skills, be organised and possess good time managementCollaborative and willing to work with fellow lecturers and the HOD to support
