    Description
    • Delivering projects to supportshrinkage and inventory accuracy
    • Develop thecompany's inventory management strategy to control costswithin budgetary limits, generate savings, rationalising inventoryand maximizing available working capital
    • Manageand maintain the company's material and stocked productinventory including stock profiles and stocklocations
    • Manage and control perpetualinventory stock counting/inventory accuracychecks
    • Minimise overstocks and removeobsolete/redundant raw materials to maximize the availability ofworking capital
    • Ensure that the goods inward /stock control department is well organised and controlled tosufficiently support production and the goals of thebusiness.
    • Ensure incoming product is receiptedand managed appropriately according to companyprocedure.
    • Ensure materials are ready andavailable for production as and when required.Ensure that anymaterials that are late or holding up production for whateverreason are chased and followed up untilreceived.
    • Ensure sub-contract processes arereceived back and that suppliers are chased to ensure no latedelivery situation.
    • Provide routine managementinformation on inventoryperformance

    Monitor and evaluateconsumables usage and cost

    Monitor &and evaluate material utilization andscrap

    • Implement improvement processesand systems to reduce inventory, minimise costs and maximizeworking capital.
    • Write and maintain accuratewritten procedures for all main inventory.control processes andfunctions.
    • Be responsible for managing andrunning planned stock takes.Perform cyclic stockchecks.
    • Ensure work orders are correct andfully completed and that all stock has been allocated to the jobcorrectly.
    • Ensure integrity and accuracy of thestock management system.
    • Produce daily reportsto ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled andany discrepancies are addressed andresolved.
    • Manage control measures to ensuremistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressedand resolved.
