VIDEOGRAPHER

About the role

This job holder will be responsible of creating visual images for an exceptional range of creative, technical and documentary purposes.

The video snappers will use their creative and technical capabilities to capture and edit photos and videos of properties or communities and business requirements.

Requirement

Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing.
Guide sales Agents to establish the desired feel and look for the sales videos.
Operate computer editing systems and equipment used for video media and effects.
Create an initial proposed storyboard draft of the video to present to clients and receive approval before beginning to digitally alter video.
Entering uncut rushes and sound and synchronizing and archiving them.
Reordering and finetuning the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the video.
Ability to multitask and work towards several milestones on various projects simultaneously.
Capture and process images until you achieve desired results.
Use and maintain modern and traditional technical equipment (cameras, lenses etc.)
Arrange objects, scenes, lighting and background to adhere to specifications.
Archive photographic images and maintain database.
Maintain an in depth understanding of photographic best practices and procedures.
Develop a good portfolio, build a network of contacts and achieve a reputation for quality and reliability in order to secure future assignments.
Takes Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) lead in ensuring "safe systems of work" and "safe conditions" are in place within area of responsibility.
Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned by management.

Qualification and skills

Bachelor's degree in film editing or related degree is required.
2 years Proven professional shooting experience.
Creative experience as a photographer, filming and videography.
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing.
Know the general skills needed for outdoor/ indoor photography and videography.
Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite and Capture One software, Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
