• 3D Software skills like SPI, 3Dsoftware
• Execute design and draughtingactivities (Concept, Front End Engineering Development, TechnicalStudy and Detailed Design)
• Prepare sketches,Electrical drawings, and designs from agreed work scopes withminimum input from engineeringpersonnel
• Achieve safety standards as definedin personal performance contract
• Responsiblefor assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with aview to continuously improving systems, personal and teamperformance
• Carry out sitesurveys
• Ensure, as far as is practicallypossible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance withthe agreed budget and schedule
• Maintainrequired technical quality of work
• Keep up todate with technical developments, national and internationalstandards and legislative requirements related to discipline workscope
• Maintain filingsystem
• Encourage and provide lateral learningwithin project
• Provide technical assistance todiscipline assigned personnel asrequired
• Assist Lead / Senior Engineer andothers when requested in the execution of their responsibilitiesand duties
  

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineeringwith minimum of 15+ years of experience
• Soundknowledge of manual and CAD draughtingtechniques
• Software skills like AUTOCAD,MICROSTATION, etc is mandatory
• 3D Softwareskills like SPI, 3D is mandatory
• Aware of andable to use codes of practice, standards, and relevant sections ofstatutory documentation as applicable to draughtingfunction
• Aware of and able to use COMPANY andCLIENT standards
• Able to create base designdrawings / models from agreed work scope with minimalguidance
• Computer literate (database /spreadsheets)
