Logistics SupervisorTo help us maintain our high standards of service, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Logistics Supervisor, to drive both innovation and execution in our busy Transportation network

Your responsibilities:
Support the overall, daily management of operational duties.

This will mean deputizing for the Operations Manager, as and when required:
you'll step in on their behalf where necessary.

Ensure safety at the delivery station and supervise logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to meet and exceed operational KPIs.

Monitor coordinator and associate performance, coach them when needed, and partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and operations.

Interview candidates for associate roles and brief/monitor workload of all drivers and associates.
Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring all administrative tasks are accurately completed, measure/monitor workflows and daily metrics.
Assist Operations Manager in tracking, trending, and reporting on site performance regularly.
Help with training and mentoring new Associates, follow up on/resolve process-related issues as needed.
Be flexible to work in different shifts and do overtime when needed.
Resource your function from a personal standpoint, including training needs, absence/performance management, coaching, and continuous monitoring of department productivity.
