    POSITIONDESCRIPTION

    The Account Manager isresponsible for increasing awareness about Amideast and itsservices in particular integrating English learning and testingproducts as well as meeting or exceeding assigned sales quotas andproviding outstanding customer service. The representative isexpected to be able to knowledgeably communicate about educationaland testingrelated products to the public private and academicsectors; gather market intelligence; and provide input to socialmedia campaigns among other duties. The Account Manager isresponsible for an integrated academic sales plan covering CMDtargets.

    The Account Manager role representsthe key point of contact between Amideast/UAE (nationwide) and isdirectly responsible for the maximization of sales for AmideastsAcademic testing products. This position is key in the turnover ofsales and reaching to the current and future clients.

    The role will work directly with the Country Director toidentify potential new clients negotiating contracts aiming toachieve monthly and annual targets acting as a bridge betweenAmideast/UAE and its current market and future markets gatheringmarket and customer information to enable negotiations regardingvariations in prices delivery and customerspecifications.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Understand and be able to articulate Amideasts currentand future product and service offerings
    • Produce an annual business plan with quantifiable goalsfor internal and external distribution
    • Developand implement strategies to increase awareness of Amideast and itsproducts and services reaching out to audiences in the publicprivate and academic sectors
    • Develop andimplement sales strategy for all testing products with particularemphasis on the TOEFL assessment family including: The TOEFL ITPAssessment Series The TOEFL Young Students Series The TOEFL JuniorTests The TOEFL Primary Tests.
    • Support salesfor the TOEIC assessment family including the TOEIC Listening andReading test the TOEIC Speaking and Writing tests and the TOEICBridge
    • Work closely with program staff toensure the accuracy and appropriateness of marketing and salesefforts and to ensure needed followup
    • Maintaina database of marketing contacts including cold calls to newprospects as a daily component of all sales strategies
    • Maintain regular contact with existing clients to provideongoing customer service and ensure client retention
    • Provide recommendations to the Country Director regardingareas of new program development
    • RepresentAmideast as needed at conferences and exhibitions
    • Arrange meetings with potential customers
    • Gather market intelligence
    • Communicate all prospect and client activity to theCountry Director and as needed to Amideast Headquarters
    • Communicate product or service issues as related byprospective and existing clients to the Country Director
    • Abide by all organizational pricing policies
    • Submit a weekly sales summary to the Country Director andAmideast Headquarters outlining the previous weeks businessaccomplishments and comparing them to the annual sales plansummarizing the current months expected accomplishments andidentifying areas needing upper management direction
    • Provide input to social media marketing campaignsQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSRequired:
    • Bachelors degree
    • A minimum of fiveyears of relevant work experience
    • Excellentcustomer service skills
    • Strong verbal andwritten communication skills
    • Ability to workindependently and to take initiative in a proactive resultsorientedmanner
    • Ability to work within deadlines andfrequently shifting priorities
    • Strong computerskills specifically with MS Office Suite in particular Excel andability to master other software quickly
    • Ability to work in a professional cooperative manner withcolleagues and clients

    • Minimum five (5) years experience in BusinessDevelopment/Sales and Marketing role in EducationalInstitute
    • Experience in Test Centre managementWORK ENVIRONMENT Theincumbent in this position will work in a professional officeenvironment and will utilize the following equipment when workingfrom the corporate office or remote home office
