Description

The duties of a dermatologist include:

  • Offering skin consultations determining skin ailments, prescribing medication.
  • Evaluating patient skin conditions by screening for disease.
  • Utilizing patient medical history as part of skin assessments.
  • Prescribing medication for the treatment of skin conditions.
  • Performing noninvasive surgical procedures on skin.
  • Talking to patients about the status of their skin health.
  • Medical degree and board certification in a relevant specialty.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience with a track record of successful patient outcomes and excellent patient satisfaction.
  • Strong knowledge of cosmetic treatments, procedures, and products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong patient relationships.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality care.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
