Cloud, storage and Backup**
Job Description for Cloud, Storage & Backup
Manage and support Dell Storage datastores being present to ESXi hosts.
Work with capacity management technicians to implement internal storage, external SAN and NAS.
Configure distributed devices and setup policies on VMWARE active/active cluster environment.
Monitor and troubleshoot critical customer infrastructure utilizing SYSLOG, SNMP and other monitoring software.
Support a 7x24x365 global enterprise communications infrastructure consisting of: voice and network communications hardware.
Configure DNS, DHCP, RRAS VPN, PPTP, L2TP, IPSEC services and protocols.
Used VMware standalone converter for P2V V2V conversion.
Image retention, duplication and edit using VMWare and PVS.
Install, configure, monitor and upgrade enterpriselevel Dell, HPE & Lenovo Servers & Storages.
Create group policies and Active Directory
Extensive operational experience implementing and supporting Microsoft cloud security technologies and services such as Defender for Endpoints, Microsoft Cloud App Security, Azure Sentinel, Azure Defender, Microsoft Defender for Office 36
Understanding the current default setup and rollout of Microsoft Defender for endpoints (MDATP)
Very familiar with Microsoft security solutions licensing models
Identifying the other security and ITSM integrations required to the M365 security technologies setup
Detailing the migration approaches from current security tools to M36
Indepth, handson experience with Azure security stack
Experience with SOC tools, technologies and processes
Detailing the testing cases for the piloting with the success criteria
Support Managed Sentinel sales organization with technical content for RFP responses and customer presentations, when needed
Defining detailed EDR configuration needs and usecases setup leveraging Microsoft Defender for Endpoints, Azure Defender or Defender for O36
Guiding technically the core project team and the supporting teams outside the project through the design, planning, testing and rollout phases
Technical communication and change management requirements identification
Perform risk assessments, threat analysis, and information assurance functions
Creating artefacts such as design documentation, implementation sheets. migration approaches, planning inputs, dependencies and RACI's
Must have previous experience in a large, regulated enterprise environment
High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy
Proven leadership abilities including effective knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, facilitation of open discussions, fairness and displaying appropriate levels of assertiveness
Ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences
Be an active mentor and a trusted security advisor for the organization, driving our security culture
Assess the storage and backup solutions in use by our current installedbase customers
Deliver engineering specifications, assist with functional specifications, and collaborate on technical designs and specifications for projects and initiatives.
Estimate effort, both development and product delivery timelines, to determine a course of action for project.
Provide technical or business analytical leadership for specific storage and backup needs or objectives in order to meet business requirements.
Work closely with external vendors and other personnel in order to optimize and facilitate the best solution to meet the needs of the business.
Develop recommendations in support of project objectives. Develop logical and physical technical artifacts for review.
Provide technical services for customers in a highly complex storage and backup environments. Demonstrate ability to assess technical impact to the project/new technology along with technical risks.
Resolve complex problems with little or no guidance. Independently research and promote specialized technical solutions.
Analyze complex hardware and software issues associated with backuprelated technologies, including NetBackup, CommVault, Data Domain and Enterprise Vault.
Analyze complex hardware and software issues associated with complex storage platforms including EMC, HDS, NetApp, and others
Analyze, design, test, document, and implement solutions for continuous data availability, integrity, backup and protection.
Maintain technical awareness of developments within the backup and storage technology industry and evaluate the applicability of those developments to needs of Fujitsu, in order to ensure that such developments are exploited for the business benefit of the company.
