    Key Responsibilities of theSecurity Supervisor:

    · Supervise and provide guidance to the hotel security team, includingtraining, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

    · Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, and maintaininghigh standards of professionalism.

    · Lead by example, demonstrating integrity, accountability, and excellentcustomer service.

    · Implement and enforce security protocols and procedures, ensuringcompliance with local laws and regulations.

    · Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises to identify and addressany security vulnerabilities.

    · Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and accesscontrol systems.

    · Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies,and guest concerns.

    · Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other emergency serviceswhen required.

    · Conduct regular risk assessments of the hotel property, identifyingpotential security threats and vulnerabilities.

    · Develop and implement preventive measures, such as access controlsystems, surveillance cameras, and emergency response plans.

    · Coordinate with other hotel departments to address security concernsand implement effective solutions.

    · Conduct investigations into security incidents, accidents, and guestcomplaints, maintaining detailed records and preparing incident reports.

    · Collaborate with internal departments and external authorities duringinvestigations and legal proceedings.

    · Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information andinvestigations.

    · Develop and deliver comprehensive security training programs for hotelstaff, ensuring they are aware of security protocols and emergency procedures.

    · Organize regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness ofsecurity measures and enhance staff preparedness.

    · Promote a security-conscious culture among employees and educate themon their roles in maintaining a safe environment.

    Key Competencies

    · Security Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of security protocols, procedures, andbest practices. This includes knowledge of access control systems, surveillancetechnologies, emergency response plans, risk assessment methodologies, andlocal laws and regulations pertaining to security.

    · Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital for aSecurity Supervisor. They must effectively convey information to the securityteam, hotel staff, guests, and external authorities. Clear and concisecommunication during emergencies, investigations, and daily operations isessential.

    · Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is necessary to identify potential securityrisks, recognize suspicious behavior, and maintain accurate records and reports.Being meticulous in following procedures and protocols ensures the highestlevel of security and compliance.

    Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other hotel departments, externalauthorities, and law enforcement agencies is necessary for effective securityoperations. The ability to build and maintain positive relationships andcommunicate efficiently across teams is crucial for the successfulimplementation of security measures.

    Requirements of the Security Supervisor:

    ·High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in securitymanagement or a related field are a plus.

    · Arabic Speaker and locally available candidate preferred.

    · Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security industry,preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.

    · Strong knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures,and relevant laws and regulations.

    · Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability tomotivate and guide a team effectively.

    · Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities inhigh-pressure situations.

    · Sound judgment and the ability to assess risks and make effectivesecurity-related decisions.

    · Familiarity with security systems, such as CCTV, access control, andalarms.

    · Physical fitness and the ability to perform regular patrols and respondswiftly to emergencies.

    · Proficiency in computer applications and report writing.
