Job Title:
Electrical Draftsman

Job Summary:

The Jr. Electrical Draftsman is responsible for translating MEP design concepts into detailed, accurate drawings. This role involves collaboration with various disciplines and the ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.


Responsibilities:

Create detailed electrical drawings as per below using (AutoCAD) software

• Electrical Designing for Light & Power Systems
• Electrical Design including load schedules, wiring diagrams,

• Designing-Low Current Systems

• Telephone System, CCTV, Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting system, Voice evacuation System, Access Control, Public Address, Back Ground Music (BGM) & SMATV Systems.
• Coordination with other discipline engineers as applicable for the continuity of the design process.
• Review and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and sketches to create accurate and errorfree drawings.

Modify and update drawings as needed throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain and organize electrical drawing files and documentation.

• Responsible for Highlighting the discrepancies and missing information's.
• Responsible for producing the Shop drawings as per the deadlines.
• Responsible for maintaining the record of all drawings and updating the Logs.
• Should be able to find and highlight the changes in the requirements
• Well versed with designing aspect and Authorities regulation and requirements.
• Preparation of Redline marked and As Built drawings
• Expertly interpret and analyse MEP drawings, including asbuilt documents, isometric drawings, and riser diagrams.
• Develop Architectural/Engineering floor plans, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
• Skilfully modify and create Revit families, coordinating effectively with other disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards, such as ADCD, ADM, ADDC, DEWA, DCD, and Etihad water and electricity.

Qualification:

• Associate degree or certification in drafting or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 35 years of experience as an Electrical Draughtsman in the MEP construction or engineering industry in Sharjah, Ajman, Dubai

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Equivalency certificate, ADQCC certificate, FEWA Certificate
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, and other design tools.
• Minimum of 35 years of experience as an Electrical Draughtsman in the construction or engineering industry.
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Attention to detail and the ability to create accurate and professional drawings.
• Familiarity with relevant ADDC, DEWA, Etihad water and electricity codes and standards.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Immediate availability
• UAE driving license (optional)

Work Location:

Sharjah, Ajman, Dubai (our engineering team at Abudhabi office check with boss for this clause)

Software Skills:

• AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software.

Salary:
AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month


Experience:

• ADCD, ADM, ADDC, DEWA, DCD, and Etihad water and electricity: 3 years (required)
• Familiarity ADDC, DEWA, Etihad water and electricity codes: 3 years (required)
