    Gentis Solutions is seeking an Advanced DataEngineer for a full-time position with a Fortune 50 company in BlueAsh, Ohio.     Requirements

    • Understandand follow reusable standards, design patterns, guidelines, andconfigurations to deliver valuable data and information across theenterprise, including direct collaboration with 84.51, whereneeded
    • 8 years of applicable hands-onexperience in data development and principles including end-to-enddesign patterns
    • 8 years proven track record ofdesigning and delivering large-scale, high-quality operational oranalytical data systems
    • 8 years of successfuland applicable experience taking a lead role in building complexdata solutions that have been successfully delivered tocustomers
    • Proven ability to think andcontribute at the strategic level
    • Demonstratedwritten, oral and presentation/public speaking communicationskills
    • Understanding of network and datasecurity architecture
    • Strong experience drivingevolutionary change in data solutions and underlyingtechnologies
    • Knowledge in three of thefollowing technical disciplines: data warehousing, big datamanagement, analytics development, data science, applicationprogramming interfaces (APIs), data integration, cloud, servers andstorage, and databasemanagement

    TypicalDuties

    • Accountablefor developing and delivering technological responses to targetedbusiness outcomes.
      Analyze, design and develop enterprisedata and information architecture deliverables, focusing on data asan asset for the enterprise
    • Innovate, develop,and drive the development and communication of data strategy androadmaps across the technology organization to support projectportfolio and business strategy
    • Drive thedevelopment and communication of enterprise standards for datadomains and data solutions, focusing on simplified integration andstreamlined operational and analyticaluses
    • Drive digital innovation by leveraginginnovative new technologies and approaches to renovate, extend, andtransform the existing core data assets, including SQL-based,NoSQL-based, and Cloud-based dataplatforms
    • Define high-level migration plans toaddress the gaps between the current and future state, typically insync with the budgeting or other capital planning processes Leadthe analysis of the technology environment to detect criticaldeficiencies and recommend solutions forimprovement
    • Mentor team members in dataprinciples, patterns, processes andpractices
    • Promote the reuse of data assets,including the management of the data catalog forreference
    • Draft and review architecturaldiagrams, interface specifications and other designdocuments
    • Proactively and holistically leadactivities that create deliverables to guide the direction,development, and delivery of technological responses to targetedbusiness outcomes
    • Provide facilitation,analysis, and design tasks required for the development of anenterprise's data and information architecture, focusing on data asan asset for the enterprise
    • Developtarget-state guidance (i.e., reusable standards, design patterns,guidelines, individual parts and configurations) to evolve thetechnical infrastructure related to data and information across theenterprise, including direct collaboration with84.51
