Description

We are looking for a knowledgeableendocrinologist to be responsible for diagnosing and treatinghormone disorders and other problems relating to the endocrinesystem. The endocrinologist will evaluate patient symptoms andmedical histories, diagnose conditions, and develop treatmentplans. You will also help patients to deal with the physicallimitations due to diseases stemming from problems with theendocrinesystem.

Dutiesandresponsibilities

• Analyzing,examining, and investigating patients and their medical historiesfor signs and symptoms of hormonalimbalances.
• Advising, ordering, and performingtests and interpreting the results.
• Discussingdiagnosis with patients, explaining treatment options, and givingadvice on medications, lifestyle and dietary changes, and otherpreventative measures.
• Carrying out follow-upappointments, monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatmentplans and medications, and updating patientrecords.
• Supporting patients with serious orcomplex endocrine conditions and their lovedones.
• Conducting research and studies on theendocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions todevelop new treatment techniques.
• Remainingup-to-date on current discoveries, developments, trends, research,and technology.
• Handling basic administrative,clerical, and business tasks, such as filing, answering phones, ordataentry.

Requirementsandqualifications

• Amedical degree in endocrinology and the successful completion of aresidency and fellowship.
• A medical license andcertification to practice endocrinology.
• Athorough understanding of the endocrine system and its diseases,disorders, and conditions.
• Strong analyticalabilities to provide accuratediagnoses.
• Excellent decision-making,interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strongorganizational, problem-solving, and researchingskills.
• Proficiency with computers and medicalequipment.
