The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for planning organizing directing and controlling all housekeeping activities maintaining established standards of cleanliness orderliness and attractive condition of public areas back-of-the-house areas and laundry plan.The role requires formulating implementing housekeeping strategies aligned with hotel's brand standards luxury positioning developing departmental goals objectives improving service quality efficiency guest satisfaction collaborating training programs coaching supervisors team members fostering culture excellence continuous improvement budgeting resource allocation ensuring optimal use supplies labor compromising quality forecasting staffing needs recruitment planning maintaining adequate workforce levels participating cross-functional meetings initiatives enhancing overall hotel operations supporting personalizing services handling feedback promptly resolving complaints related health safety environmental policies promoting sustainable practices waste reduction eco-friendly products evaluating implementing new technologies housekeeping management systems improving efficiency guest satisfaction tracking performance metrics KPIs data analysis reporting tools overseeing daily activities housekeeping teams room attendants public area cleaners laundry staff supervisors assisting organizing conducting training sessions new hires ongoing refresher courses existing staff.
