DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide nursing care and daily physical screening to children; assess children and implement first aid measures for children as needed.
  • Provide healthcare to children and staff
  • Perform health screenings, managing communicable diseases, and assessing the Nursery environment as to prevent injury and ensure safety.
  • Overseeing infection control measures.
  • Actively participating in nursery safety plans that address nursery violence, and emergencies that may occur at nursery.
  • Supervising the medication administration, health care procedures, and the development of healthcare plans.
  • Be a proactive team member, offering appropriate support to your colleagues.
  • Record accidents in the accident book. Make sure that parents read and sign the report.
  • Look at the Nursery as a 'whole', where your help is most needed and how you can most effectively meet the needs of the children in your care.
  • Establish and update health files.
  • Orient the staff and teach specific medical procedures for the evaluation and maintenance of the medically involved children in the classroom.
  • Provide health education and counselling for the staff and parents.
  • Maintain clinic equipment and assesses the need for consumable supplies on an annual basis.
  • Responsible about all the hygiene matters in the Nursery.
  • Participate in collaborative planning and delivery of parenting, and child development, with children support teams, social workers, psychologists and guidance counsellors.
  • Taking care for the infant section (changing, feeding, writing in the daily note book, preparing the end of the term assessment)
  • Supervisor the infant section staff.
  • Nurse is the direct responsible for the infant section.
  • Knowledge of child development and relevant assessment schemes.
  • Ability to communicate well with adults and children.
  • Awareness of Health & Safety and practical hygiene issues.

Qualifications:
HAAD license


Experience:
School Experience minimum one year


Salary:
AED4, AED5,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Al-Ayn: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
