Overview of the role:
The Project Manager is responsible for leading the project team to deliver the project from inception to completion successfully. Job profile includes planning, directing, and coordinating the project & operations.
He is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of the business and organizational operations through the provision of effective methods.
What you will do:
Project Management
- Develop and implement the project execution plan, ensuring the implementation of quality control standards and cost control on the project for ontime completion.
- Deliver the projects on time, within the budget and quality set by the organization.
- Liaising with all stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders & management in ensuring timely order of materials and planning/arranging of labor / subcontractors.
- Supervising, monitoring, and reporting project progress throughout the project cycle to ensure ontime completion. Lead Projects progress meetings and coordinate with other departments.
- Overseeing the installation and construction work from time to time and ensuring efficient standards of workmanship are maintained.
- Ensuring that a proper record of the completed project documentation is available on completion of the project.
- Elaboration and update of the project planning data (aneffort, actual costs versus budget, timesschedules, personnel deployment planning etc.)
Cost Management
- Execute the projects within estimated material/labor/staff costs.
- Obtain variation orders on scope changes instructed by the employer.
Engineering
- Monitor and ensure preconstruction project activities (material submittals and drawings) are executed in line with the project plan.
- Ensure adequate resources are assigned to the project in coordination with the project head.
- Ensure Engineering/Design complies with Local Authorities and the specialist manufacturer & recommendation.
Quality Standards
- Responsible for the assignment of adequate QA/QC staff
- Monitor and control the quality performance of the projects
- Ensure no quality deviations occur in the projects Health, Safety & Environment
- Ensuring that all company and sub contract personnel are complying with AFE HSE Policy.
- Actively support and participate in safety and environmental initiatives.
Required Skills To Be Successful
Job-Specific Skills:
- Handson experience in installation/construction activities and worked in a construction environment.
- Handson experience in commissioning various ICT/ELV/AV systems.
- Technical training/certifications on leading ICT/ELV/AV System.
- Expert knowledge of ICT/ELV/AV industry standards, practices, techniques, procedures, codes and regulations.
- Knowledge of QS & QC processes.
- Should have good knowledge of networks, Installation, T&C & ICT/ELV/AV system integration.
- Experience in basic network implementation, installation, configuration and troubleshooting is necessary.
- Basic knowledge in AutoCAD.
- Responsive to changing demands.
- Experience in construction management
- Good knowledge of Project execution processes
- Good knowledge of local code of practice and International Standards for design implementation

What Equips You For The Role
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Bachelor & degree in a technical field (IT/Communication/Electricals/Engineering/Similar).
- PMP certification
- Proficiency in using MS Office.
Minimum Experience:
- 3 to 10 years relevant work experience in ICT/ELV project implementation, including Structured cabling, ICT, ELV, Security, AV, etc
Solution Expertise:
- Network infrastructure turnkey projects.
- Data cabling and networking equipment.
- P telephony
- Physical Security systems (CCTV, Access control, barriers, and road blockers) Vendor Management Expertise:
- Cisco, Huawei, HP, Avaya, Mitel.
- CommSope, Corning, Belden.
- Hanwha, Suprema, Hikvision, Bosch, FAAC, TISO.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Project Management
ICT:
3 years (preferred)
License/Certification:
- PMP Certification (preferred)
