    What You WillDo

    • Followsafety policies to provide a safe workplace for all employees andsupports the guiding principles of Goal Zero to continually improvethe plant's safety, health and environmental performance,security, design, development, manufacture, storage, marketing,distribution, use and ultimate safe disposal of chemical products.Drive culture of safety; Report safety observations /incidents.
    • Supports and is committed to theQuality Improvement Process. Plans strategies to ensure error-freework by "doing it right the first time" andconveys this attitude in the daily performance of various duties,in our drive continuous improvement.
    • Ensurecompliance to purchasing policy and SOPrequirements.
    • Lead the market research& new source / vendor development efforts for EH regiondirect materials (chemical)categories.
    • Extensively working on alternatedevelopments against single/sole sources, right cost countrysourcing initiatives & developing supplier chemistrycapabilities matrices.
    • Represent procurementfunction & co-ordinate with cross functional teams forAlternative Supplier Approval Process.
    • ManageRFQ process for new projects / tenders / product setups.
    • Represent & lead the SupplierQuality Management efforts from procurement side for EHregion.
    • Prepare procurement performance reports- arbitrage opportunities, safety &quality.
    • Creates and maintains individualplans/goals that reflect weekly, monthly, and yearly objectives.Actively strives to achieve goals/objectives.

    Minimum Education& Experience

    • Bachelor's degree inchemical engineering
    • 3 years of work experiencein direct materials procurement in Chemical or O&Gindustry
    • Proficient in SAP, Microsoft OfficeSuite & Power BIDashboard.
