The InterContinental Hotels Group properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotel brands.

These include the luxury brand InterContinental, the superior upscale Crowne Plaza, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites and the vibrant mid-scale Holiday Inn.

In addition to over 1000+ bedrooms, the four properties boast a selection of high quality restaurants and bars, an impressive 3,800 square meter Event Centre across two levels, the 5,000 square meters Festival Arena by InterContinental, the luxurious Spa InterContinental, state-of-the-art gymnasium and swimming pool facilities.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

  • Audit, analyze, and reconcile all revenue transactions of the hotel for accuracy.
  • Audit the list of voided restaurant checks for proper approvals and explanations.
  • Ensure control over cash and cash equivalents for the property is in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with policy and procedures.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Manager.
  • Ensure that all the day's Banquet revenue has been recorded and reconciled with the contract.
  • Audit the daily General Cashiers report against recorded cash movements.
  • Review paid outs, cash refunds, rate variance, and upgrade reports.
  • Reconcile Municipality Fee, Tourism Dirham fee, and VAT on a daily basis.
  • Audit daily rooms, Food and Beverage revenue summaries along with the supporting documents.
  • Audit revenues from other operated departments such as Spa, transportation, shops, laundry, business centre for completeness.
  • Review adjustments, negative postings, noshow postings, and late checkout. Ensure that every complimentary room has an adequate explanation in the approval form.

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as accounting or business.
  • Skills such as analytical, communication and detail oriented is required.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills, and computer literacy.
