Role Reporting intoour Finance Director and working closely with the UAE Country Leadthis role will take ownership of all financial tax and regulatorycompliance and reporting for our UAE entity. They will beresponsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financialdata maintaining compliance with UAE tax and regulatoryrequirements and proactively identifying opportunities to optimizefinancial processes both within the UAE entity and throughout thebusiness. Our UAE business launched in 2023 and is the newest (andrelatively the fastest growing) business in the TapTap Group.Taking the lead on Finance for the entity this role will also beheavily involved in new product launches and development as the UAEbusiness continues its rapid growthtrajectory.

Responsibilities

• Manageand maintain the UAE entity balance sheet and incomestatement
• Oversee the preparation of timely andaccurate financial reports for internal and externalstakeholders.
• Lead our UAE entity auditsserving as primary point of contact for auditors and deliveringfrom planning through to signing.
• Monitor andanalyze financial performance providing insights andrecommendations to the management team.
• Ensurecompliance with GAAP and company accountingpolicies
• Collaborate with global finance teamsto ensure alignment and consistency in financial reportingpractices
• Coordinate with external tax advisorsto complete tax filings accurately and ontime.
• Handle all aspects of UAE tax reportingand compliance.
• Primary Finance contact withthe DFSA for all Financerelated compliance and reportingrequirements
• Ensure regulatory compliance asthe UAE business grows and expands its productoffering
• Continuously review and enhancefinancial reporting processes seeking opportunities to streamlineoperations and improve efficiency.
• Implementbest practices and automation tools to optimize financial dataanalysis andreporting.

Requirements

• Minimum4 years postqualified accountant with internationally recognizedqualification (ACA ACCA CPA ICAS other asapplicable)
• Prior experience in a Finance teamwith a focus on tax compliance and regulatoryreporting
• Strong analytical skills andattention to detail
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
• Ability to workindependently and demonstrate a proactive and solutionorientedapproach.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Officeor Google Suite applications (Excel GSheetsetc)
• Experience with Netsuite isdesirable
• Experience working with big data andusing data visualization tools (Mode Looker PowerBi) isdesirable
