Parsons is looking for an amazinglytalented Planning Engineer Infrastructureto join our team In this role you will get toreview check and evaluate the Contractors time schedule of works.

What Youll BeDoing:

• Following thereview recommend acceptance / rejection of the Contractors timeschedule to Planning Manager/Senior Planning Engineer forforwarding the recommendation to the Engineer (PMC) and Client forprogram acceptance.
• Monitor the work progresscompare to the accepted program of work and report to the PlanningManager.
• Coordinate with the PlanningEngineers of Client/PMC and the Contractor on all scheduling issuesand progress.
• Prepare weekly monthly (or anyperiod agreed with the Engineer (PMC) / Client) reports about thestatus of construction progress.
• Evaluate andforecast project progress and performance against the establishedaccepted / amended schedule with critical milestones.
• Assess the impact(s) of design/construction changes andschedule slippages.
• Inform the PlanningManager/Senior Planning Engineer (for informing PMC / Client) ofany potential delays in the project completion or the milestones.
• Analyse assess and participate in discussionsabout any suggested recovery program by the Contractor to mitigateany delays.
• Participate in the assessment andanalysis of time related claims by the contractor.

What RequiredSkills Youll Bring:

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering Construction orrelated field
• Minimum of 10 yearsdemonstrable experience in all aspects of civil supervision onmajor road highway and general infrastructure projects preferablyin the Gulf region.
• Certification in planningand scheduling of projects and in using Primavera applications(Primavera Project Management / P6 and Primavera ContractManagement I Expedition) and cost engineering preferred.
• Project management experience in planningscheduling and cost engineering.
• Extensiveknowledge and experience in project planning budgeting cost phasingand control from the project initiation to close out phasesutilizing computer based systems (Primavera Project Management P6and Primavera Contract Management Expedition) within the frameworkof an integrated project services function for the effectivemanagement of a wide range of concurrent projects to meet thebusiness plan objectives.
• Familiarity withthe techniques for schedule impact analysis.
• Preferable have experience in the gulf region speciallyin Abu Dhabi (UAE).

What Desired Skills Youll Bring:

• Preferably fullyconversant with the standard forms of Contracts.
• Must have a sound knowledge about contractualrelationships.
• Must be fully computerliterate and able to utilize computer technology to access datamaintain records generate reports etc. and any project specificengineering and construction relevant software.
• Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with anexcellent capability in written technical skills good reportwriting analytical and computer skills as well as oral and writtencommunication skills.
