Job Purpose:

To support the procurement teams in the transformation and standardisation to best practice ways of working in Source to Contract, Supplier Relationship Management and Procure to Pay process.

Further responsibility exists for managing the execution of supplier performance management and other procurement related reporting on a regular basis - ensuring that quality data is captured as part of the standard process, validated and assured and presented in clear formats to provide transparency across the procurement activity in support of proactive management.


Job Outline:

  • Manage the standardisation of process, configuration of systems and execution of routine Supplier Performance measurement and performance dashboard reporting in support of Supplier Relationship Management for all strategic suppliers and support the category managers through regular review meetings to ensure robust timely management of the process steps in line with the procedures manual.
  • Manage the development, refresh and utilisation of procurement management dashboards and monthly reporting to drive compliance to the processes and improve procurement delivery, including transparency across procurement related objectives
  • Support and drive the change in behaviour across procurement personnel and stakeholders in the business units to ensure standardisation and to continuously improve the performance of the procurement department through the transparency of analytics and highlight of opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the adoption of best practice through the delivery of training and production of regular communications across all group procurement personnel, internal stakeholders and suppliers while incorporating process and system adoption and compliance to the standard procedures manual.
  • Manage the monthly refresh of spend analytics in support of robust category management and manage the maintenance and standardisation of the category structure and mapping of expenditure.
  • Provide support to the Transformation Lead in defining best practices for the end to end strategic procurement process supporting continuous improvement across the department.
  • Provide support and guidance to the Business Support Specialists in delivering user support and guidance across the procedures and system usage to assure best practice procurement throughout the team.

Qualifications & Experience:
Qualifications:
  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
  • MCIPS is a must Experience: 8+ Years in Procurement Knowledge/Skills:
  • Project management experience of managing project tems and ensuring all team members deliver as required on time and in full.
  • Best practice Procurement process covering Source to Contract, Supplier Relationship Management and Procure to Pay experience of defining and deploying standard process with associated change management and support.
  • Procurement performance measurement and analytics experience of defining, preparing and using analytics to drive change management and transformation.
  • Spend analytics and category management experience of category management and categorisation mapping of spend.
