- To conduct all materialsmanagement activities safely and in accordance with the CompanysHSE policies
- To managethe receipt storage usage return and resupply of consumables andcapital items on the rig and camp
- To ensure the storage and handling of any hazardousmaterials in accordance with Company policy manufacturersrecommendations and local legislation
- To produce timely reports on the inventoryand usage of spares
- Toconduct periodic reviews of stock levels and make recommendationsfor changes
- Carryout all duties in the safest possible manner and ensure thatpersonal protective equipment (PPE) is used correctly
- Maintain the warehouse inventoryof spares for the rig and camp in accordance with Naborssystems
- Provide forsecurity under safe lock and key of the spares inventory
- Monitor the maximum safe storageperiods for any items which have prescribed shelf lifelimits
- InitiateMaterials Requests (MRs) for the spares inventory or capital itemstogether with the respective department head at rig site
- Amend the rig inventory system toinclude spares for additional capital equipment installed on therig
- Arrange forMaterials Transfers (MTs) for movement of materials to and fromother rigs
- Ensure thatall purchasing is carried out to the highest ethicalstandards
- Monitorprogress reports of outstanding MRs
- Produce monthly inventory and financialreports of stock levels issues receipts and values
- Keep records of materialsmovements and inventory levels issues and produce reports to theArea Office in a format which meets local customs and fiscalrequirements for reporting purposes
- Carry out receiving function for equipmentdeliveries and unpack and take into inventory
- Arrange for local purchases wherethey are feasible
- Discuss regularly with the Rig Manager forthcoming rig operationsand any impact they may have on spares usage
- Secure all spares for handling and transit ofthe rig warehouse during rig moves
- Maintain personal training and in particularkeep knowledge of Nabors systems current
- Provide on the job training for TraineeStorekeepers or warehouse personnel
- Cooperate with specialist and/orsubcontractor personnel in the preparation of accurate customs andother documentation required for the importation or exportation ofrig logistics or camp equipment
- Ability to deliver quality reports and document withminimum supervision
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Tech/Vocational Cert/Apprenticeship
- Minimum 3 years experience asWarehouseman
- Computerproficiency in software applications to include MS Word Excel andOutlook
- Must have aForklift license
