    Abbott Rapid Diagnostics' (ARDx) Infectious Disease goal is to lead in market development and adoption of point of care diagnostics (POC) in key markets. The move from laboratory-based tests and the associated material and information flows to diagnostics delivered at the point of care requires deep change for many customers.

    As a Business Analyst, your role is primarily to support in creating business insights for proactive decision making & implementing projects that are aligned to the departments strategy. The FTE should leverage systems and tools that drives one source of the truth. On a monthly basis, they would be creating reports that measures leading and lagging KPI's to drive the business strategy.

    What You'll do:

    Working closely with cross-functional teams teams to support the rapid growth of the division and region will be critical for the role. The Business Analyst will serve as a trusted advisor to the commercial & commercial excellence team and add value that will assist in sound decision making. Primary responsibilities include:

    • Building & Maintaining Dashboards Power Bi dashboards
    • Creating, integrating and Maintaining data bases and systems
    • Upkeep of data/system governance and security
    • Preparing various trend analyses in graph format including business trends, market dynamics, pricing, competition, in-market sales by segment, timely sales reporting
    • active contribution to the preparation and submission of weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews, annual planning phases
    • generate variance analysis reports assessing individual territory performance against sales forecast and budget
    • support business expansion proposals: Customer acquisition and retention tracking, margin calculations, alternate business models, scenario management etc.
    • conduct research and analysis in order to come up with solutions to business problems that help improve current systems and processes for the division and its clients
    • Implementing adhoc projects related to SFDC & SFE

    Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum University degree in Commerce
    • Diagnostics, Medical Device or Pharma industry experience will be considered an asset
    • Understanding local Area, International and Division Planning and Reporting processes

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 2-3 years' relevant experience
    • Reporting and data analytics
    • Dashboard creation & maintenance
    • Master Data Management
    • Scenario analysis
    • Analytics
    • Ideally experienced in delivering change initiatives and facilitating change in a customer focused organization

    Skills Required:

    • Advanced Excel, Power bi & Power point
    • Highly analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Strong command of English language (written & verbal)
    • Ability to think innovatively and not be constrained by current practices
    • Fluent in building / constructing compelling business cases
    • Good communication and presentation skills
    • Demonstrated ability to maintain positive people relationships and build strong links with all departments
    • Self-starter, possesses flexibility and ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing environment and ambiguous situations
    • Positive attitude, team player with a high level of initiative, energy and enthusiasm driven by objectives, solutions and adhering to deadlines
