The Civil Team Leader will be responsible for leading a team focused on the maintenance and upkeep of civil infrastructure and facilities.

This role involves overseeing maintenance projects, providing technical guidance, and ensuring that maintenance tasks are executed efficiently and in compliance with safety and quality standards.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring coordinated efforts and efficient task execution.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and management to plan and prioritize maintenance projects.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members during maintenance activities.
  • Perform inspections to assess the condition of civil structures and identify maintenance needs.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance tasks, assigning responsibilities to team members.
  • Coordinate resources, equipment, and materials required for maintenance projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during maintenance operations.
  • Monitor work progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise during maintenance activities and recommend solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, reports, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with procurement to source required materials and maintain inventory.
  • Mentor and train junior team members, fostering their growth and development.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 25 years of experience in civil maintenance or related roles.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing maintenance teams.
  • Strong knowledge of civil maintenance principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and tools used in maintenance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problemsolving aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance activities.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Fujairah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Civil Team Leader: 2 years (required)
