Job Descriptions:

Responsible for procurement of Vehicle (Car) Spare Parts for Vehicles especially engine parts.
Manage Vehicle (Car) Spare parts supply and inventory
Sourcing of Vehicle (Car) Spares & Coordinate with Floor Manager.
Monitoring of minimum stock level & Total Inventory Mgmt.
Take inventory of stock.
Discuss use and features of various Vehicle (Car) parts, based on knowledge of Vehicle (Car) spare parts.
Decide on substitution or modification of Vehicle (Car) parts when identical replacements are not available.
Implement & follow up the foreign requisitions for spare parts & machinery supplies within the approved budgets that ensure on time delivery with the minimum costs for all items within purchasing cycle.
Check all tenders and purchase orders documents' specifications for Vehicle (Car) spare parts.
Check all correspondences with suppliers and follow up for backlog orders.
Negotiate with suppliers, if needed, to get the most appropriate prices & conditions.
Monitor the contract preparation and order placement in the right time according purchasing cycle.
Handle and settle any claims for any unaccepted items.
Synchronize and coordinate works & activities with all other Sections / Departments.
Survey efficiently the Vehicle (Car) spare parts markets for competitive substitutes.
Generating reports based on the salesman requirement of spare parts and coordinate with the suppliers to arrange the availability of the items on required time.

Requirements.

Graduation with minimum of 2 years' experience in Planning, Procurement and inventory management of Vehicle (Car) spare parts with a leading automobile manufacturer/Distributor or dealer.
Good exposure of Spares Management for services industry.
Experienced in setting up of a Functional Procurement Team/Department, establishing workflows, operating procedures.
Excellent English & Hindi and Arabic (Optional) language skills; oral and written.
Good skills and familiarity to CRM's and ERP will be an advantage.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software programs.
Proficient with or able to quickly learn the inventory system.
