Description

The head of supply chain and logistics will keep track of Pentagram's inventory and will work with the purchase team in China to replenish the company's stock in various categories, including dashboard trims, parking sensors and cameras, window films, rear set entertainment, wireless chargers etc.


  • In this role, the Head of Supply Chain, Logistics and Purchase will coordinate with other departments such as sales, operations, finance and warehousing, to analyze supply chain data and performance, while ensuring the systems are up to date. The incumbent should have the record of accomplishment of being able to resolve issues that arise along the way with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality standards stay high throughout each operation.
  • Develop a long term demand plan, increasing availability while reducing distribution costs
  • Review the current systems and practices, and make strategic recommendations for improved processes going forward including production introductions, order and supplier management, inventory management and distribution servicing, supporting financial management goals
  • Review and ensure best practice in inventory management and champion

  • Create crossborder synergy, including leveraging global buying power to
create a worldwide supply chain partnership

  • Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
  • Monitor logistics to make sure goods are delivered on time. Maintain and evaluate supply chain inventory and records
  • Be aware of safety guidelines and implement protocol in all aspects of the supply chain
  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals.
  • Set up the process of monthly purchase and financial planning process, involving all the key stakeholders (Finance, Operations, and Business teams)
  • Supplier / Vendor evaluation for best quality and price.
  • Work jointly with the finance and operations team to build the key cost metrics and setup a monthly cost review mechanism

  • Ability to set up ambitious deliverables, implementation and ensure compliance across team
  • Planning encompassing the RM procurement to finished goods inventories
  • Map SCM process, bring in best practices.

Pay:
AED20, AED25,000.00 per month
