Help AG is looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer who will design, implement, and manage secure network infrastructures for enterprise environments.
The role requires hands-on expertise across multiple security technologies, including Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, and SD-WAN solutions.The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, deep technical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of network security.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade network security solutions, including firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.
Enforce and manage security policies across network environments, ensuring protection against threats and vulnerabilities.
Monitor, detect, and respond to network security incidents, including troubleshooting and implementing effective remediation measures.
Perform regular security assessments, upgrades, and patching of network devices to maintain compliance and resilience.
Collaborate with IT, SOC, and cybersecurity teams to align network security architecture with organizational standards and best practices.
Prepare documentation, SOPs, and reports related to network configurations, incidents, and policies.
Support the deployment and management of SD-WAN solutions for secure and optimized connectivity.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5–8 years of experience in network security engineering roles.
Strong hands-on experience in Cisco technologies (Routing, Switching, ASA/Firepower, ISE, VPNs).
Proven expertise in Palo Alto Networks (Next-Gen Firewalls, Panorama, GlobalProtect).
Solid knowledge of Fortinet solutions (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiClient, SD-WAN).
Experience with F5 technologies (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM for load balancing and application security).
Good working knowledge of SD-WAN architectures (Cisco Viptela, Meraki, Fortinet, or equivalent).
Understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, intrusion detection/prevention, and threat mitigation.
Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks).
Relevant certifications preferred:
Cisco (CCNP Security / CCIE Security).
Palo Alto (PCNSE). o Fortinet (NSE 4/5/7).
F5 Certified Administrator.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
