    Broad outline of the Role

  • Specialist Solution Sales (SSS) team is a part of Global customer success group belonging to sales function. The SSS team members have a Goal to achieve Order booking & Revenue Targets for Security portfolio of TATA Communications. This role of security SSS reports into the Head of Security solutions who is part of the India sales function. This function is responsible to drive security business across the MENA region customer segments.
  • Minimum qualification & experience

  • Seasoned Professional : Years of experience managing sales of Security services business across OEM / Service Provider organisations in roles spanning Sales/ Specialist Sales function Entrepreneurial: You spot opportunities to drive growth for our Security portfolio revenue and brand recognition by customers. Able to think and lay down the business plan and actions for the given customer segment and execute the action in collaboration with cross functional team members. Outcome-oriented : You focus on the Goals & drive business growh in agile manner to accelerate customer acquisitions. Proactive and open: Reachout to internal and external stakeholders proactively to respond to the need and requirement. Self-sufficient: C apable of identifying key issues and priorities and focusing on these to deliver required results with minimal direction and supervision. Being a problem solver with technical aptitude.
  • Other knowledge/skills

  • Demonstrated ability and successful track record in selling specific offerings in Information Security, MSS and Cyber security
  • Strong understanding of the entire Information Security domain and environment of our enterprise –
  • Having worked in a Security Sales role in the MENA Region
  • Existing relationships with CISO/Security decision makers
  • Existing relationships with key Security OEM's
  • Techno-Commercial understanding of the Security domain
  • Seed MSS opportunities and sustain the pipeline – to identify opportunities, develop the solution and close deals
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder relationship mgmt. - Develop customer relationships espl at the CISO level to be in the consideration for any MSS requirement
  • Ability to define the MSS solution contours and drive the technical pre-sales team to cater to the specific proposal
  • Bring in other strategies and best practices for MSS business and customer acquisition
  • Minimum 12-18 years in a focused role in enterprise/managed security domain –
  • Prior experience of having worked with MSSP or IT System Integrators (security practice) or Consulting player (security practice) - Preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Engineering Graduate
  • Any Security certification like CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSK – Preferred
