    Main Duties:

    • Analysis local market trends and competitor activity to identifybusiness leads.
    • Implements sales actionplans related to market areas.
    • Developcustomer accounts and travel within the local area to drivebusiness to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams.
    • Negotiate room rates/packages with corporateclients.
    • Produce accurate and timely reportsthat meet the needs of the Director of Sales including thereporting of appointments calls made and business lead.
    • Maintain valid call objectives and relevant action plansfor each key account/key prospect and ensure all follow up is donein a timely manner.
    • Proactively prospect newaccounts for the hotel and follow the sales process through toconvert into producing accounts.
    • Takepersonal responsibility to ensure that all accounts are properlyupdated in the system and that the system is utilized to its fullcapacity.
    • Maintain uptodate activity andrate information for each account.
    • Answercustomer queries in a prompt and professional manner.
    • Conduct daily sales calls.
    • Understand and be in a position to action any group and eventenquiry and ensure accurate handover for followup to the InspiredMeeting team.
    • To actively support both: theAssistant Sales Manager and Sales Coordinator to carry out theirroles effectively (i.e. ensuring there are enough sales kitsavailable for the week etc).
    • Communicatingclient requirements in a timely and accurate manner to all internaldepartments as required ensuring the delivery of superior guestservice.
    • Ensure accurate followup andcommunication both internally to reservations and accountingdepartments and confirmation to the client.
    • Ensure property rate sheets are accurate at all times.
    • Communicate any obstacles to completing action plans tothe Director of Sales.
    • To arrange and managefamiliarization / educational trips in line with business needs.
    • Entertain clients and potential clients inhotel outlets to showcase our property and special Savoir Faire.
