**Your Role: The Floor Supervisor will be the first point of contact of the patients at the Medical Centers and is responsible for first level of query handling, registration activities and providing proper guidance to the patients along with the purchase request duty schedule records maintenance.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Welcome & greet patients, act as first level of Problem Solving and grievance handling of patients asking the query of the patient as per set checklist and assist them in reaching to the counter; help in Registration & Insurance form fill up.
  • Check the patient category and assist them to complete all necessary forms, get insurance card and verify insurance/benefit coverage and collect copays and/or payment toward account balances at the time of service; coordinate with Insurance Department regarding the billing.
  • Understand the problem of the patient and refer to the doctor concerned, ensure that the patients are informed if a doctor is running late or called out; receive Patient file & enter details in the system, handover Patient Registration Cards to the patients.
  • Update Insurance policy & Quality aspects/SOP to CSEs and ensure adherence to the same.
  • Ensure all standard protocols set by the organization are maintained, reception area is well maintained, neat and clean and quality of service is maintained at the clinic.
  • Make Backdate billing for pending approvals, call & followup with patients.
  • Incorporate daily inventory requests from all departments and make purchase entries through Medical store software, cross check stock availability.
  • Collect & collate monthly duty schedule from all departments and enter shift details in V-Serve.
  • Increase footfall for the assigned doctors through referral patients, coordinate and inform the marketing team & UIC about the footfall per doctor.
  • Generate business for new departments and assist UIC in various campaigns.
  • Introduce new doctors appointed and provide necessary information about the procedures & policies at the clinic, provide them with necessary stationaries needed.
  • Lead a team of CSE and ensure their dress code and protocols are maintained.
  • In absence of Unit In charge take care of duty hours and work schedules of CSEs and act as 1st level escalation for queries and grievances of the patients which the CSEs are unable to handle.
  • Ensure that the sample of dental water is sent to Municipality as required.
  • Send the necessary invoices to the Accounts department, take care of petty cash for the unit and supervise billing done by CSEs.
  • Send monthly clinic performance report department wise to UIC / AMO and daily report to UIC.
  • Be point of contact for staff at the unit for IT issues and route all IT issues to the IT Department.
  • Update Doctors Online Appointment and leaves of doctors and other staff to UIC.
  • Maintain updated regulatory documents and assist unit in charge during inspection from Regulatory, Municipality and Civil Defense.
  • Assist Nursing dept. for coordination of ambulance & hospital during emergency.
  • Coordinate with trainers / speakers (inhouse) for organizing weekly training sessions and prepare a training calendar in consultation with the Unit In charge and ensure all staff go through training sessions, train new staff as and when required.

Education & Experience:


  • Bachelors/Masters in Management, Operations, Marketing or similar field.
  • Minimum 58 years of relevant experience and prior supervisory experience.
  • Prior experience in Admin and P&L control.
  • Proven experience in business development, financial and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of UAE regulations and standards.
