About the Role

Here at McCone Properties, we are a prominent player in the Real Estate industry in Dubai.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant to join our finance team
who can start immediately.

This role is pivotal in managing our revenue inflow, ensuring accuracy in billing, and fostering strong relationships with our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities

Issuing Customer Invoices and Receipts:Efficiently prepare and dispatch billing statements and receipts to customers.

Follow-Up for Payments:Actively engage with customers and employees to ensure payments are made on time and to resolve any financial discrepancies or questions.

Zoho Management:Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and perform reconciliation in Zoho.

Monthly Reconciliation:Conduct monthly reconciliations for Customer Statements of Account (SOA), employee advances (recoverable GL), customer aging, and GL accounts.

Bank Reconciliation:Coordinate with the AP Accountant to perform weekly bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate recording of transactions.

Coordination for Commissions and Payroll:Work closely with the Senior Accountant to manage commission calculations and payroll deductions for agents.

Excel and Communication Skills:Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial management and exhibit exceptional communication abilities for effective interaction with team members and external partners.

Supportive Role:Provide support to the finance team as required, including handling ad hoc tasks and projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role.
Proficient in using accounting software,preferably Zoho.
Advanced skills in Excel and strong analytical abilities.
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detailoriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
