We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk with experience in Food Retail Distribution that will be involved in managing accounts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure proper financial management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to make sure that all payments are accounted for and correctly posted.
  • Perform daily financial transactions, such as validating, classifying, computing, publishing, and recording accounts receivables' data.
  • Produce financial statements and reports outlining the accounts receivable status to facilitate the payment of invoices that are past due by sending bill reminders and contacting the clients and suppliers.

Requirements and skills

REQUIRED:
3-5 years working experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk in a
Food Retail Distribution company

  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
  • Handson experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
  • Proficiency in English and in MS Office
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
