- You will work12-hour shifts in a harsh offshore environment on a movingfacility
- Prior to offshore travel, you willsatisfy and maintain mandatory industry trainingstandards
- Qualified residents of the provinceof Newfoundland and Labrador will be given first consideration inthe staffing of this position
- Pay rate inaccordance with Appendix E of the Collective Agreement betweenTerra Nova Employers' Organization and Unifor Local2121

- Marine and offshore industryexperience; Preferably 3-5 years relatedexperience
- Familiar with computerizedmaintenance management systems such as SAPS4
- Effective communication skills (written,oral and computer)
- Demonstrated leadership andteamwork behaviors
- Ability to understand andreact with diverse groups and operations and work closely withother individuals in a remotesetting
- Certification and Watchkeeping forSeafarers (STCW) Certificate ofProficiency
- Watch Keeping Mate (WKM)Certification
- Oil Tanker Endorsement Level2
- Dynamic PositioningTraining
- General Operators Certificate forGlobal Maritime Distress and Safety System(GMDSS)
- Able to complete/clear an offshoremedical and drug and alcohol testing
- Basic Survival Training (BST)including HUET and HUEBA
- Advanced Rigging,Slinging, and Banksman
- Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S)Alive
