    • The shift schedule is a 21days on/ 21 days off rotation
    • You will work12-hour shifts in a harsh offshore environment on a movingfacility
    • Prior to offshore travel, you willsatisfy and maintain mandatory industry trainingstandards
    • Qualified residents of the provinceof Newfoundland and Labrador will be given first consideration inthe staffing of this position
    • Pay rate inaccordance with Appendix E of the Collective Agreement betweenTerra Nova Employers' Organization and Unifor Local2121
    • This position will remain open forapplicants until March 31st, 2024

    Qualifications

    • Marine and offshore industryexperience; Preferably 3-5 years relatedexperience
    • Familiar with computerizedmaintenance management systems such as SAPS4
    • Effective communication skills (written,oral and computer)
    • Demonstrated leadership andteamwork behaviors
    • Ability to understand andreact with diverse groups and operations and work closely withother individuals in a remotesetting
    • Certification and Watchkeeping forSeafarers (STCW) Certificate ofProficiency
    • Watch Keeping Mate (WKM)Certification
    • Oil Tanker Endorsement Level2
    • Dynamic PositioningTraining
    • General Operators Certificate forGlobal Maritime Distress and Safety System(GMDSS)
    • Able to complete/clear an offshoremedical and drug and alcohol testing
