- Lead and manage the motor underwriting team, ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped to carry out their duties effectively.
- Develop and implement underwriting guidelines and policies for motor insurance products.
- Work closely with the actuarial team to ensure that our motor insurance products are priced appropriately.
- Collaborate with the claims team to ensure that claims are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure that our motor insurance products remain competitive and compliant.
- Work with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies for motor insurance products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers and reinsurance partners.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Finance.
- FCII, ACII Certificates is preferrable.
- At least 5 years of experience in motor insurance underwriting, with at least 2 years of experience in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of motor insurance products and pricing strategies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
