- To repair and maintain the hotellinen and ambassadors uniforms as per hotel standards andprocedures.
- To ensure that sewing machine andother equipment are in good working condition and to report on anyrepair requirements to the Supervisor.
- To handout and accept uniforms and linen and to ensure that all recordsare well maintained and current.
- To monitor anyrepairs to the guest and ambassador laundry required and inform theAssistant Manager / Supervisor Laundry the necessaryrequirements
- To ensure the cleanliness andorderliness of working area.
- To fit the newambassadors with their new uniform and make alterations ifnecessary.
- To alter and to maintain a record ofdiscarded linen and uniform.
- To assist withinventory of uniforms and linen.
- To assist withthe distribution of the guest laundry and ambassadorlaundry.
- To report any found items to theSupervisor.
- To co-ordinate closely with laundryattendant to ensure smooth workflow and to assist them in dailyoperations.
- To read and complete the laundryLogbooks and reports.
- To carry out specialprojects according to the assignments.
- Toattend a daily line up briefing with the Housekeepingteam.
- To be entirely flexible and adapt torotate within the different sub sections of the HousekeepingDepartment.
- To carry out any other reasonableduties as assigned by the Laundry Supervisor and Assistant LaundryManager.
