    Head of Channel Distribution – IT Devices

    The Head of Channel Distribution for IT Devices will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive distribution strategy for IT devices in the Dubai market. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the IT industry, channel dynamics, and market trends specific to the region.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute a strategic distribution plan for IT devices, considering market trends, competitor activities, and business objectives.
    • Identify and evaluate potential channel partners to optimize product reach and sales.
    • Establish and nurture relationships with key channel partners, including retailers, system integrators, and value-added resellers.
    • Negotiate and finalize agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
    • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and threats in the IT devices market.
    • Analyze customer needs and preferences to tailor distribution strategies accordingly.
    • Develop and implement sales programs to drive revenue growth through channel partners.
    • Set and monitor sales targets, providing guidance and support to the sales team to achieve objectives.
    • Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels and ensure timely product availability in the market.
    • Implement efficient inventory management practices to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to create channel-specific marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
    • Ensure effective communication and coordination between marketing efforts and channel partners.
    • Provide training and support to channel partners, ensuring a high level of product knowledge and service standards.
    • Implement programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of channel sales teams.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly assess channel partner performance against these metrics.
    • Develop and manage the budget for channel distribution activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in channel distribution management for IT devices or related technology products
    • In-depth knowledge of the Dubai IT market and distribution landscape
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive strategic decisions
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
    • Results-oriented and able to meet sales targets and objectives
