Job Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • Safely transport students to and from school, following assigned routes and schedules.
  • Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections to ensure the bus is in proper working condition.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly interior of the bus.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure the wellbeing and safety of students during transit, enforcing appropriate behavior.
  • Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents that may arise during transportation.
  • Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate authorities.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on safety protocols and regulations.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to the safety and security of all passengers.

Qualifications:


  • Valid Class 3, 5, and 6 driver's licenses.
  • Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
  • Previous experience as a school bus driver or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
  • Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Physical ability to perform pretrip and posttrip inspections, as well as assist students in boarding and exiting the bus.

License/Certification:

  • Valid UAE driving license (3, 5 & 6) (required)
