ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF MEDICAL EDUCATION

JOB PURPOSE

  • To participate in the teaching, curriculum management and educational innovation in the college.
    MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
  • Participate in the work of the Medical Education Center to support and foster innovation in the curricula at the College of Medicine.
  • Participate in teaching and student's supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate Health Profession Education courses and programs.
  • Achieving excellence in research through publishing in high impact, peer reviewed publications in health profession education.
  • Development and implement Faculty Development Programs.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Required Skills:


  • Leadership in teaching, assessment and learning innovation.
  • Experience in Technology Enhanced learning and assessment.
  • Experience in management of medical curriculum.
  • Record in pedagogical research.

Required Qualifications:


  • PhD in Medical or Health Profession Education
  • Substantial track record of research in Medical/Health Profession Education
  • Bachelor in Medicine will be an added value
