Description

We are looking for a creative Pastry Commis 2 to maintain an efficient process by providing quality and innovative pastry products.


Salary will be AED 3000/-
**Job Responsibilities:
- *
  • Planning and directing the production turn overs by assessing effectiveness of set menu
  • Second In charge to oversee whole production (quality control, production, finishing, cutting, packaging, dispatching) when the head chef is unavailable
  • Ensure that high quality standards are me as per Quality Control Check List (all items in good condition ,standard taste and size as per recipes)
  • Conducting hygiene and safety checks to manage HAACP standards (tables, floor, shelf, dishwashers, storeroom, doors, equipment's, tools, ovens, staff uniform, receiving & delivery bay, expiry dates)
  • Assisting the head chef when it comes to writing and creating new pastry items/recipes.
  • Managing attendance and work force head count on busy days
  • Producing pastry goods as per head chef standards (recipe & techniques)
  • Arrange dry store, chillers, freezers, check temperature controls as per standards
  • Make sure all products are available to be delivered on time at the dispatch area, with correct labelling & numbers
  • Inform the head chef if there is any shortage on stocks as per defined levels
  • Ensure packaging is done in the correct temperature and packets
  • Ensure accuracy of dispatch
  • Catering to ad hoc requests by customers and bakery counter staff
  • Reporting and handling any municipality visits
  • Handling emergency situations within the work area
  • Weekly general equipment maintenance
  • Escalate customer complaints to head chef
  • Discuss with customers on correct order specifications special orders, birthday cakes
  • Support bakery counter in the shop
  • Second in command to the head chef

  • Ability to cope with pressure
  • Good Communication Skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to AED3,000.00 per month
