Responsibilities

• Review patients' medicalhistory and collect additional information from family members andpsychologists as needed
• Evaluatepatients' emotional, behavioural and mental state throughdiscussion, observation and analysis
• Identifymental disorders and determine besttreatments
• Develop therapyplans
• Prescribemedications
• Analyse medical tests and trackpatients' progress
• Coordinate withhealthcare professionals when hospitalisation isrequired
• Advise patients on how to cope withmental diseases and emotionalbreakdowns
• Support patients' lovedones and inform them about the patient'scondition
• Research medical issues and newmedical treatments to update your knowledge on mentalhealthcare.
  

Requirements

• Work experience as aPsychiatrist
• In-depth knowledge of variouspsychotherapeutic methods
• Excellentcommunication skills with the ability to explain medical terms andconditions to a non-medical audience
• Strongobservation skills to accurately evaluate patients'demeanor and identify symptoms
• A great bedsidemanner and the ability to remain calm, empathetic and patient whileinteracting with patients who suffer from severe mentaldisorders
• Thoughtful andcompassionate
• Specialization degree andResidency program in Psychiatry
