We are currently working with alongstanding and local Architecture & EngineeringConsultancy company based in Abu Dhabi looking for a StructuralSection Manager to join theirteam.

Inthis role you will(nonexhaustive):

• Preparationof Structural design drawings and documents as per the projects
  contractual stakeholders requirements ensure the fullcompliance with the client
  and the company standards andrelevant design codes and standards forobtaining
  necessary permits and floating tenders inaccordance with time schedules approved forprojects.
  
• Toplan lead organize and control operations of the StructuralDepartment.
  
• Structuralanalysis and design using one or more of structuralprogram.
  
• Makingauthoritative design decisions technical review and approving alldrawings
  and documents issued by the structuralteam.
  
• Chairingand supporting design internal and stakeholdersworkshops and meetings and relevantnegotiations.
  
• Full understanding ofthe project requirements concerning time cost andquality.
  
• Estimating working hoursfor pricing new projects or approving working hours and deliverydates for awardedprojects.
  
• Controlling quality of allproducts of design phase coordinating and cooperating technicallywith other design and BIM teams sections subconsultants andfreelancers to ensure achieving projectrequirements.
  
• Providing designreview of all work performed by team members including Contractor ssubmittals ifrequired.
  
• Leading andmotivating the team to achieve company and projects objectives andgoals and support at enhancing the positive workenvironment.
  
• Empoweringteam members with references and skills to improve their confidenceproduct knowledge and communicationskills.
  
• Supervisingand evaluating the performance and work of structural designengineers BIM modelers and draftsmen and proposing trainingpromotions and demotions for them asrequired.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelorsdegree in Structural or CivilEngineering
  
• Musthave experience background in the Architecture &Engineering Consultancyspace
  
• 1318years postgraduation workexperience
  
• SoftwareProficiency:
  Ability to work onNavis work/Revit & AutoCAD
  Working knowledge in the use of at the structuraldesign software (FEM) at least ETABS SAFESAP.
• Wellversed with structuralcalculation for different load cases Static and dynamicanalysis.
  
• Design Expertise:
  
• Experience on multidisciplinarydesign projects.
  
• Familiar withindustrystandard codes ACI IBC BSIetc.
  
• Proficient in preparing reportsand calculations.
  
• Strongcommunication and coordinationskills.
  

Note:Candidates willing to relocate FullTime in Abu Dhabi and arecurrently in the country will be prioritized.
