    Michael Page Finance and Accounting are currently recruiting for a Chief Accountant to join a large growing business based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).The Chief Accountant will assist the Finance Manager and Finance Analysts to provide accurate, complete and timely management information on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

    On a day to day basis the Chief Accountant will have full responsibility of maintaining an accurate, reconciled and complete General Ledger and prepare accounts to Trial Balance.

    The responsibilities will include.
    Reconciliation of GL accounts.
    Preparation of wages and payment runs.
    Manage credit control.
    Oversee Accounts Payable and authorise payment runs.
    Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, acquisitions, disposals and depreciation.

    We are looking for an accounting professional with UK experience to join this large organisation in the United Arab Emirates

    Essential:
    Previous experience as a Chief Accountant or GL Accountant within the UK market

    Desired:
    Accounting qualification or part qual.
    Any experience in a manufacturing, utilities or mining business would be advantageous.

    This exciting opportunity would suit an experienced GL/Chief Accountant who is looking to move to the Middle East and join a large organisation in the United Arab Emirates.


    Package:

    240K AED per annum (equates to approx GBP44K)+ Bonus + Housing + Car + Family Insurance + Family Flights + Education.
