    About the Role<\/b>
    <\/p>

    We
    are recruiting on behalf of our UAE -based client, a reputable player in
    the hard commodity sector, for the role of Senior / Principal Process
    Engineer.
    <\/p>

    Project Participation:<\/b>
    <\/p>

    Represent the
    Client in a world -class, grass -roots petrochemical and refining project
    in the UAE from early engineering design through FEED and EPC.
    <\/p>

    Scope and Documentation:<\/b>
    <\/p>

    Develop the project scope of work and Basis of Design.
    <\/p>

    Provide process inputs and compile ITB packages for the pre -FEED and FEED phases.
    <\/p>

    Evaluate bidding proposals and participate in the selection process for engineering contractors.
    <\/p>

    Technology and Licensing:<\/b>
    <\/p>

    Assist with the pre -qualification and assessment of technology providers and process licensors.
    <\/p>

    Review and evaluate Preliminary Design Packages (PDPs), Basic Design Packages, and related study reports.
    <\/p>

    Coordination and Communication:<\/b>
    <\/p>

    Communicate and coordinate with international engineering contractors and technology licensors during the design phases.
    <\/p>

    Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, external contractors, and vendors.
    <\/p>

    Documentation Review:<\/b>
    <\/p>

    Review
    and provide feedback on process -related documentation such as
    BFDs/PFDs, process philosophies, design basis documents, specifications,
    drawings, and layouts.
    <\/p>

    Process Design and Analysis:<\/b>
    <\/p>

    Provide
    essential process inputs for the large -scale petrochemical plant
    design, including process selection, plant configuration, and
    equipment/material recommendations.
    <\/p>

    Conduct process design analysis and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
    <\/p>

    Use
    specialized process simulation software (e.g., Aspen PIMS, Aspen Plus,
    HYSYS, or similar) to verify design calculations and simulations for
    ISBL and OSBL facilities.
    <\/p>

    Risk Management:<\/b>
    <\/p>

    Contribute
    to the design of other disciplines and participate in risk assessments,
    developing measures to minimize process -related issues.
    <\/p>

    Project Execution:<\/b>
    <\/p>

    Collaborate
    with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure the timely
    delivery of engineering packages and services. Ensure adherence to
    quality and safety standards throughout the project execution.
    <\/p>

    Technical Problem -Solving:<\/b>
    <\/p>

    Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to process design development.
    <\/p>

    Team Collaboration and Reporting:<\/b>
    <\/p>

    Act
    proactively as a member of cross -functional teams, contributing to
    decision -making processes and ensuring the alignment of technical
    objectives with project goals.
    <\/p>

    Assist in the preparation and presentation of technical reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
    <\/p>

    Requirements<\/h3>

    Skills
    <\/h2>

    Education:
    <\/p>

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Process or Chemical (Petrochemical) Engineering.
    <\/p>

    Experience:
    <\/p>

    minimum
    10 years of experience in downstream process engineering, preferably in
    large -scale or international petrochemical/refining projects from
    conceptual design to EPC.
    <\/p>

    Technical Expertise:
    <\/p>

    In -depth
    knowledge of petrochemical and refining technologies, with hands -on
    experience in licensor's PDP and the design of ISBL and OSBL facilities.
    <\/p>

    Solid understanding of process design, optimization, and industrial engineering principles.
    <\/p>

    Proficient in using process simulation software (e.g., Aspen PIMS, Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or similar).
    <\/p>

    Regulatory Knowledge:
    <\/p>

    Familiarity
    with international standards and UAE National regulatory requirements
    related to safety, environmental compliance, and quality.
    <\/p>

    Problem -Solving:
    <\/p>

    Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical challenges and implement innovative solutions.
    <\/p>

    Communication and Collaboration:
    <\/p>

    Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
    <\/p>

    Ability to work independently under supervised guidance
    <\/p>

    Additional Qualities:
    <\/p>

    Proven time management and coordination skills.
    <\/p>

    Willingness to travel internationally and work across different time zones.
    <\/p>

    Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools is an asset<\/p>
