- The key responsibilities of theCommercial Finance Analyst:
- Manage and maintainthe integrity of data, to include liaison with other BusinessSupport functions e.g. HR and the Global Group FinanceTeam
- Overhead control andanalysis
- Support the gross margin budgeting,forecasting and variance analysis process
- Takea proactive approach to identifying opportunities to design newreporting and enhance the information provided to thebusiness
- Design and roll out of reports to aidthe reduction of Casualty's working capitalrequirement
- Preparation of regular reports forthe various Casualty Boards, Pillar Heads and EquityPartners
- Provide data, modelling and commercialadvice to support bids, tenders, client profitability reviewsetc.
- Point of contact of contact forPartner/Lawyer requests for data e.g. Business Case forPromotion
- Provide support as directed on Firmwide Finance projects and initiatives
- Aqualified/part qualified Accountant
- Highlyproficient in Excel and financialmodelling
- Strong analyticalskills
- Attention todetail
- Able to communicate financialinformation with senior non-financialpeople
