Hiring a Librarian for Dubai.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the library collection, including selecting and purchasing materials.
- Assist patrons with research and reference requests.
- Plan and implement library programs and services.
- Conduct library orientation sessions and teach information literacy skills.
- Manage library technology, including databases and online resources.
- Manage the library budget and allocate resources effectively.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support research and teaching activities.
- Maintain accurate records and statistics of library usage and activities.
Key Requirements:
- Master's degree in Library Science (MLS) or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Librarian.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong understanding of library principles and practices.
- Experience with library technology and online resources.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
