Hiring a Librarian for Dubai.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the library collection, including selecting and purchasing materials.
  • Assist patrons with research and reference requests.
  • Plan and implement library programs and services.
  • Conduct library orientation sessions and teach information literacy skills.
  • Manage library technology, including databases and online resources.
  • Manage the library budget and allocate resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to support research and teaching activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and statistics of library usage and activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Library Science (MLS) or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Librarian.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of library principles and practices.
  • Experience with library technology and online resources.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
